Breastfeeding Your Baby
A one-time reality based, down-to-earth class, taught by a lactation consultant. This class covers everything you need to know and then some! After this class, you will feel positive and confident about nursing your baby.

Starting Solids
Learn how and when to begin feeding solid foods to your baby. Helpful hints and guidlines, also includes a demonstration on food preparation and storage. A great class to take when baby is between 4-6 months.

Infant Massage Class
One of our most popular classes! A certified massage therapist will teach you one of the most pleasant methods to promote a bond between you and your baby. Recommended for non-mobile babies, please bring a blanket to class.

Working & Breastfeeding
We have been counseling and supporting working moms for over 17 years! So if you're going back to work - this class is a must! Learn how to continue nursing your baby at home and providing your milk for him/her when you are not. Women do it everyday. Discuss strategies for pumping, the how to's, how much's and what not's.

Infant/Child First Aid Class
This class is a must for parents, family members, babysitters, nannies, and anyone else taking care of your infants and children. It teaches emergency care so they can instantly react when faced with life-saving decisions to protect and keep a child safe. We will discuss common medical, surgical, and environmental emergencies and also the contentents of a well-stocked First Aid kit, Epi pen use, and when and how to call for help. Class is taught by Geraldine Hickey, RN.

Cost: $65 per person

Infant/Child CPR & Choking
Based on the American Heart Association Family and Friends Guidelines. Learn how to recognize the need for infant and child CPR and understand the common reasons an infant or child would stop breathing or become unresponsive. Proper age-appropriate CPR technique, perform choking maneuvers, know when to call for help, better understand SIDS. Hands-on training using mannequins.

This class is ideal for expectant parents, parents, family members/grandparents, babysitters, nannies and anyone caring for infants and children.
